Improved electronic and mobile banking service
30.09.2026

Dear customers,

We would like to inform you that API Bank enhanced its web and mobile banking services, with a particular focus on further improving security and making the Bank’s digital services easier to use. As part of these improvements, new options for logging have been introduced, as well as for authorizing payment orders. Regarding mBanking, in addition to the existing four-digit PIN login, users can now log in to the application and authorize payment orders using biometric data available on their mobile device, such as fingerprint or facial recognition.

Web Banking (eBanking)

New secure methods for logging in to the eBanking service and authorizing payment orders will be available through the mobile application as follows:

  • mToken – logging in to the Web service using the token serial number and a one-time password (OTP) generated by the mobile application;
  • QR Code – logging in to the Web service and authorizing payment orders by scanning the QR code displayed within the Web service using the mobile application;
  • Push Notification – logging in to the Web service and authorizing payment orders via a push notification that takes the customer directly to the mobile application, where the request can be approved.

These changes are part of API Bank’s continuous efforts to enhance the security of its digital services and are aimed at providing customers with safer, simpler, and more convenient eBanking and mBanking expirience.

Yours,
API Bank
